Persian Tabriz Rug: A Classic Work of Art

The design is dominated by an elaborate central medallion with pendants, in shades of deep red and blue on a cream background, standing out against the main salmon pink field. The field is richly decorated with an all-over design of stylized floral motifs, including palmettes, vines, and lotus blossoms, harmoniously distributed. The border, also very complex, features several decorative bands with Herati and geometric patterns, predominantly in burgundy red and blue, which beautifully frame the rug, adding depth and character.
