This splendid Kazak rug, originating from Afghanistan, is a magnificent example of tribal textile art. Crafted with high-quality hand-carded wool and a cotton warp, it boasts a density of approximately 100,000-150,000 knots/sqm, ensuring remarkable strength and durability. The thickness of 1.1 cm provides a pleasant underfoot feel.

Its design is characterized by three large geometric octagonal medallions, known as "gül", which are arranged along the central axis on a predominant light beige field. These medallions are richly detailed with internal motifs in red, light blue, and indigo, and are surrounded by a series of smaller tribal symbols and stars that enrich the entire composition.

The vibrant color combination – with the beige of the field, the intense red of the borders and medallions, and the shades of light blue and dark blue – creates an appealing contrast that captures attention.
