This authentic Shiraz rug, originating from Persia, is a vivid expression of the knotting art of nomadic tribes. The main field, dominated by a vibrant red, is enriched by a large central diamond medallion in dark blue, framed by intricate geometric details. On either side of the medallion, stylized white “trees of life” stand out, symbolizing abundance and longevity, while the rest of the field is scattered with small tribal motifs, including birds and octagonal stars.
