This authentic Shiraz rug, originating from Persia, is a textile work of art steeped in nomadic history and culture. Entirely crafted from hand-carded wool with a cotton warp, it boasts a density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of approximately 1 cm.

Its central field, in a vibrant red hue, is enlivened by a fascinating abrash effect, testifying to the natural dyeing of the yarns and the artisanal craftsmanship. At its heart, two large polygonal medallions in dark tones stand out, enriched with complex geometric designs and floral stylizations, enclosed by richly decorated borders with tribal motifs.

The upper and lower areas of the rug feature a dark blue cusped design, adorned with stylized "tree of life" motifs. The entire composition is framed by a series of narrow, lively borders, displaying a variety of traditional geometrics in blue, ivory, ochre, and green, lending depth and character to this magnificent example of Persian art.
